Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a Document Controller with experience working on Civil Engineering schemes. Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee document workflow within Common Data Environments.
  • Provide first-line support to the department, troubleshoot tasks, and serve as the primary contact for Viewpoint technical support.
  • Regularly liaise with project teams, offering guidance to ensure Viewpoint systems are configured for optimal project delivery.
  • Proactively gather user feedback for lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage internal and external user accounts.
  • Conduct audits of Viewpoint system usage to ensure data input complies with procedures and proper referencing protocols.
  • Create Task Information containers for communication with clients and suppliers.
  • Complete project close-out documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in Document Control.
  • Familiarity with construction practices and standards (desirable).
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, Excel & Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in utilizing electronic document management systems (specifically Viewpoint for Projects).
  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate records and reports.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of up to £40,000 (DOE) plus generous package. This is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
