Elvet Recruitment is excited to partner with a progressive group of companies within construction across the UK who are currently seeking Document Controllers to join their team in the York area.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee document workflow within Common Data Environments.
  • Support Document Control team to maintain existing project documentation and drawings.
  • Uploading, revising and issuing documents to relevant parties.
  • Co-ordination of both site and office documentation to ensure revision control is maintained across the business.
  • Support the production of O&M documentation including liaison with project team members.
  • Monitor QEMS (Quality, Environmental, Management & Safety System) compliance.
  • Support the management of the subcontractor approval process including update of insurance and accreditation.
  • Monitoring site paperwork and scanning.
  • Update and maintain office templates.
  • Support the weekly tracking of company vehicles against time sheets.
  • Ensure all site file/project documentation is archived in a timely manner.
  • Reception cover.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in Document Control.
  • Familiarity with construction practices and standards (desirable).
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, excel & Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in utilizing electronic document management systems.
  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate records and reports.
  • Experience of working with Project Information Management Systems.
  • Compilation of O&M manuals.
  • Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
