Are you an experienced Administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting a busy office environment? We are delighted to be recruiting for an Administrator to join a well-established construction business, providing key administrative support across both office and site operations. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys being involved across different areas of the business, from general office administration and document control through to maintaining records, managing online portals and supporting site teams. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident using Microsoft Office and able to manage a varied workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Previous experience within construction or a related industry would be advantageous, but a strong administrative or customer service background will also be considered. What You'll Be Doing: * Providing day-to-day administrative support to both office and site teams * Managing general office administration including scheduling, correspondence, record keeping and data entry * Preparing, scanning, photocopying and distributing documentation as required * Ordering and monitoring office supplies and stationery * Preparing and distributing operating and maintenance manuals * Preparing and distributing homeowner manuals and other project documentation * Supporting the preparation of presentations and company documents * Monitoring online portals including Clixifix and NEPO * Updating portal information accurately and within required timescales * Creating and maintaining accurate drawing registers * Distributing drawings and documentation to relevant teams * Maintaining organised and accurate records in line with company procedures * Supporting the wider office and site teams with additional administrative requirements as needed What We're Looking For: * Previous experience within an administrative, business support or customer service role * Previous experience within construction or a related industry would be desirable * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration, Customer Service or a similar subject * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines * Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Professional and personable approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team * Confident using Microsoft Office and other business software * Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing processes * Proactive and flexible approach to supporting a varied workload * Ability to work professionally with individuals at all levels * Full-time availability to work on site Role Information: * Salary: £26,770 – £27,000 DOE * Full-time, permanent position, 39 hours per week * Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm / Friday: 8:30am–4:00pm * 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays * Fully site-based This is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
