Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an ambitious Civils Site Supervisor on behalf of a tier 1 civil engineering main contractor to assist in delivering a £20m project near Doncaster. This project is relatively new and will provide this Site Supervisor with at least 18 months work. Further tenders are looking positive within 1 hour from Doncaster also so hopeful of long term work.
Duties/Responsibilities as Site Supervisor:
- Assisting Site Manager
- Site setup involvement
- Delivering daily briefings with sub-contractors on site
- Delivering HSE toolbox talks
- Managing & coordinating sub-contractors
- Material checks / stock monitoring
- Plant checks
- Monitoring Health & Safety on site
Experience required as Site Supervisor:
- Must have experience as Site Supervisor on varied civil engineering / infrastructure projects of £5m+
- Must have experience supervising workforces on: road construction, s278 works, drainage, paving, kerbing etc.
- Must hold: CSCS, SSSTS and full driving license.
- Beneficial: NRSWA Supervisor / SWQR Supervisor or similar
- Beneficial: BTEC / HNC / HND / NVQ / Degree in relevant field
Remuneration:
A salary of up to £50,000 (dependant upon experience) plus company vehicle or allowance, fuel, annual leave, healthcare, company share scheme, pension and other benefits.
