Elvet Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a reputable housebuilder to recruit a Field Sales Executive based in County Durham. This is a dynamic and customer-focused role where your primary responsibility will be to guide prospective buyers through the purchase journey, from initial enquiry to completion, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience at every stage. The homes are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of a wide range of buyers, including first-time buyers, families moving up the ladder, downsizers, and investors. As a Field Sales Executive, your commitment to providing a high-quality service will be key to building lasting relationships with customers and achieving sales targets. You'll be supported with ongoing professional development and training to help you thrive in your role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets
  • Follow up on all marketing leads, engaging with prospective buyers and ensuring timely, proactive responses.
  • Meet with clients to assess and qualify their needs, providing clear guidance throughout the buying process.
  • Actively promote and sell the full range of Gleeson Options and Extras, ensuring buyers understand all available choices.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and all other stakeholders to progress sales smoothly and professionally.
  • Deliver consistent customer follow-up, maintaining strong communication from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Ensure all sales administration is completed accurately and on time, including contract chasing and management of customer documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity to maintain a strong understanding of local market conditions.
  • Maintain and update the customer enquiry database, capturing and managing customer information throughout the sales journey.
  • Use computer systems effectively, including COINS (full training provided and ongoing).
  • Maintain the high standards of the sales areas and completed plots, carrying out regular internal and external checks, reporting issues, snagging, and instructing as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience within customer services ‘Face to Face’ – with or without new build experience, Marketing background or Retail background acceptable
  • Passion for delivering top-tier customer service
  • Friendly, professional, and presentable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative team player with a positive mindset
  • Self-driven, organised, and proactive
  • Able to represent the company brand with professionalism and integrity

Role Information:

  • Up to £50,000 OTE
  • 35 hours, Thursday - Monday 10am - 5pm
  • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
