Elvet Recruitment is excited to partner with a prestigious, privately owned construction and development group in the UK, currently seeking Assistant Administrator to join their team on a site in Northumberland, in their temporary cabins, on a Part Time basis. With over 60 years of experience in the construction industry, the company operates across 10 key sectors, including commercial, education, and accommodation. Recently, they secured projects valued at £3 billion, working with both new and existing clients in the private and public sectors. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee document workflow
- Provide first-line support to the department, troubleshoot tasks, and serve as the primary contact for Viewpoint technical support.
- Regularly liaise with project teams, offering guidance to ensure Viewpoint systems are configured for optimal project delivery.
- Proactively gather user feedback for lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct audits of Viewpoint system usage to ensure data input complies with procedures and proper referencing protocols.
- Create Task Information containers for communication with clients and suppliers.
- Complete general office duties such as collating documentation & reporting
- Supporting with deliveries and inducting site operatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience on site
- Essential: Previous experience with Smart waste
- Desirable: Previous experience with Biosite
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, databases, excel & Microsoft packages
- Familiarity with construction practices and standards (desirable)
- Experience in utilizing electronic document management systems (specifically Viewpoint for Projects)
- Ability to maintain clear and accurate records and reports.
