Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a respected main construction contractor to oversee a new-build project within the leisure/accommodation sector. The scheme runs from October through to April and requires strong site leadership, programme control and consistent quality management.
Role Responsibilities
- Daily management of site operations, subcontractors and trades
- Driving programme, sequencing and short‑term planning
- Managing scheduling, look‑ahead planning and coordinating daily/weekly progress
- Handling site‑level purchasing, materials call‑offs and ensuring timely deliveries
- Overseeing external works, internal fit‑out, M&E coordination and associated civils
- Ensuring full compliance with H&S standards, RAMS, inductions and permits
- Liaising with visiting PMs, client reps and design teams
- Managing QA processes, snagging and handover documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Experience delivering projects in the accommodation sector; background in hotels or apartment schemes is a strong advantage
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS
- Ability to maintain high safety and quality standards while keeping programme on track

- Up to £350/day CIS
