Are you an experienced part-qualified accountant with a solid grounding in audit and accounts? A leading Top 100 UK accountancy firm in East Hertfordshire is looking for an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their thriving team. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years of audit and accounts experience in practice who is ready to take on more responsibility and accelerate their progression.
The Role
- You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit and accounts assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to larger groups across various sectors.
- Leading or assisting on-site audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact during assignments.
- Reviewing junior work and supporting their development where appropriate.
- Working closely with seniors and managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of audit and accounts experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge and a good grasp of audit procedures and UK reporting standards.
- Progressing with ACA or ACCA qualification (part-qualified as a minimum).
- Confident communicator, able to liaise directly with clients and colleagues.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and eager to develop professionally.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred (due to client site work).
