ROLE PURPOSE

The Content Production Manager is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end production of communications and content assets for a major event. This role will ensure that all content is delivered on time, on brief, within budget, and to a high standard across all required channels and formats.

Working closely with the Communications team, designers, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers, the Content Production Manager will coordinate briefs, manage production schedules, oversee supplier delivery, track costs, and ensure that all content supports the wider event objectives and brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the content production process for the event, from brief development through to final delivery, ensuring all assets are produced on time, and to high standards.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop clear creative and production briefs for designers, agencies, freelancers, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate production workflows, timelines, approvals and dependencies across content formats, including digital, print, social, signage, video and event materials.
  • Act as the point of contact for designers and external suppliers, ensuring expectations, deadlines, specifications and feedback are clearly communicated and managed.
  • Monitor production schedules, budgets and supplier costs, proactively identifying risks, delays or budget pressures.
  • Ensure all content and creative outputs are consistent with brand guidelines, tone of voice, accessibility standards and event messaging.
  • Manage version control, asset tracking, approvals and final file delivery, ensuring all materials are organised and available to relevant teams and suppliers.
  • Support the wider Communications team with content planning, prioritisation and coordination in the lead‑up to and during the event.
  • Support content delivery during the event itself (must be available to travel to USA in March 2027), coordinating final assets, updates, last‑minute changes and production requirements across relevant teams and suppliers.
  • Provide on‑site production support where required, ensuring content assets are delivered accurately and efficiently in an extremely fast‑paced environment.
  • Contribute to post‑event evaluation by capturing learnings, supplier feedback, production performance and recommendations for future events.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing content production, creative production, event communications, marketing campaigns or similar multi‑channel communications projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex timelines, multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and fast‑moving deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating creative briefs and working closely with designers, agencies, freelancers, printers, production partners or other external suppliers.
  • Experience managing budgets, supplier costs or production‑related financial tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review content and creative assets for accuracy, consistency, quality and brand alignment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in coordinating input, feedback and approvals across different teams.
  • Good understanding of content formats and production requirements across digital, print, social, presentation, video and event environments.
