The Elton High School is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our Student Support Team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role is a NJC Grade 8 Term Time only position requiring 37 hours per week plus three additional days during school closures, with a start date of 1st September 2026.
The postholder will work with colleagues to promote high standards of behaviour across the school, support pastoral care, and supervise the day‑to‑day implementation of the Reflection Room.
Responsibilities- Promote high standards of behaviour throughout the school community.
- Ensure the pastoral care needs of all students are met.
- Supervise the day‑to‑day implementation of the Reflection Room.
- Collaborate with the Student Support Team and other staff to support students’ wellbeing.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the promotion of student welfare.
- Appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the DBS.
