Experienced General Practitioner (4 Sessions)
Salary: ÂŁ13,000 per session per annum
Required days: Monday (essential) + flexibility for remaining sessions
On‑call: Weekly on‑call commitment
Experience: Minimum 5 years post‑CCT
We are seeking an experienced GP (minimum 5 years post‑CCT) to join our team for 4 sessions per week. This role is ideal for a confident, clinically strong GP who is comfortable managing complexity and contributing to a large, dynamic practice.
Monday availability is essential
Participation in the weekly on‑call rota is required
Clinical sessions include a mix of booked appointments and triage
Strong clinical and administrative support provided

Main duties of the job
The post‑holder will provide high‑quality general medical services to the practice population and work collaboratively as part of the wider clinical team.
Key duties include:
- Undertaking clinical sessions comprising a mix of booked appointments and triage
- Participation in the weekly on‑call rota
- Providing safe, effective and evidence‑based patient care
- Managing acute and chronic conditions, including patients with complex needs
- Reviewing clinical correspondence, results and actioning tasks in a timely manner
- Contributing to practice clinical meetings and learning activities
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care
- Supporting training and supervision as appropriate to experience
- Adhering to practice policies, NHS contractual requirements and GMC guidance
