Head Chef – The Forest Tavern, Forest Gate
We're looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen and help drive the next chapter of this fantastic pub.
The Forest Tavern is one of those pubs that people genuinely love.
Just a short walk from Forest Gate station, it's a busy community pub serving commuters, locals, friends and families every day of the week.
Great food sits at the heart of what we do, and we're looking for someone who shares that passion.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a great General Manager and really make your mark.
You'll lead the kitchen team, set the standards, support and develop your chefs, and make sure every service delivers the quality our customers expect.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being in a busy kitchen, leads by example and understands that a great team creates great food.
You'll be confident managing stock, GP and compliance, but just as importantly, you'll enjoy coaching people, building a positive kitchen culture and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work.
