A collection of unique, characterful pubs, bars and restaurants in London and the South-East. We are honest to ourselves and to each other. We strive to be better, not because other people ask us to be but because it pleases us to constantly improve and achieve.

Integrity

In everything we do and in all of our interactions with customers, suppliers and colleagues. We take pride in our food and our drinks and in the environment in which we work. We will never try to get away with a substandard product because that would fail to satisfy our own high standards. Everyone who works to uphold these values deserves to be treated fairly. We set ourselves and each other fair and achievable targets and strive to beat them. We appreciate each other and enjoy each other's company.

We are looking for a Sous Chef or a strong Chef De Partie to join our close-knit team! We are a vibrant local pub based in South West London, looking for a strong new member of our kitchen team. The food is an essential part of what brings people to our pub, and we want to make sure it's in good hands!

What we offer you:

  • Christmas Day off.
  • 50% discount off all food in any Portobello pub.
  • 50% discount on all drinks in any Portobello pub.

What you offer us:

We want our Sous Chefs to be the future Head Chefs. Our Sous Chefs should be the creative force behind our menus and specials, bringing creative, passionate people to deliver consistent, fresh, seasonal food. We expect good health & safety standards, and a well-trained team. As a Sous Chef, you will step into the Head Chef’s clogs when they are off. Therefore, you will have a good understanding of how dishes are costed and have input to menu development and daily specials.
