The Lion & Lobster is looking for another superstar to join our incredible kitchen team! Fresh off the back of an excellent 2025 for our thriving kitchen, we are looking to expand the team and keep adding more and more ingenuity, flavour and talent to our culinary operation here in one of Brighton's most charming pubs!

What you offer us:
As a Chef De Partie, you will have the responsibility for running ‘YOUR’ section, on busy shifts. You will be trusted to run the kitchen on less busy shifts and will be an integral part of the brigade. You will be as involved in the menu design and daily specials as you wish; we want our teams to own ‘their menu’. Our main menu changes with the seasons, alongside specials that show imagination, flair, and personality. We need organised and passionate chefs to make all our greatest ideas come to life on a plate!
You will be supported and developed by our Sous & Head Chefs, and in return will teach our Commis’ and KP’s so we all work as one well-oiled machine! We will give you the knowledge to one day be a Head Chef, with regular training days and visits.
