Hours of Work: Circa one day of teaching per week, term time only, engaged on a self‑employed basis. There may be more hours of teaching available once new applications for lessons are received ahead of September.

About the role: The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College Family of Schools seeks to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Piano who will inspire a love of music and high levels of motivation to progress and perform in our students. The successful candidate will have experience as a performer and teacher at all levels, and be willing to teach students from beginner level to Grade 8 and beyond, across both the Junior and Senior Schools (age 7‑18).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high‑calibre one‑to‑one lessons, providing music instruction that enables pupils to perform musiciansly at the high standards expected by the School.
- Support pupils in achieving their full potential in music examinations and concert performances.
- Organise own teaching timetable, with support from the Music Administrators.
- Assist with duets/trios, concerts, and performance coaching as required.
