A well-established textile recycling company looking for warehouse staff to sort and grade used clothing for export, working as part of a large multinational team. This is a hands-on role picking up bulk stock and sorting garments by type, style and quality, or bulk-packing goods for shipment. It's physically demanding and fast-paced, so previous warehouse or factory experience is preferred. You'll work alongside our sorting teams and drivers to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and grade donated clothes, shoes and accessories by quality and category
- Keep your workstation tidy, organised and compliant with health & safety standards
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by your Line Manager
We're looking for someone with:
- Textiles experience: previous work in a textiles sorting environment (preferred)
- Physical stamina: comfortable with standing, lifting and sorting throughout the shift
- Strong work ethic: able to work efficiently under pressure and hit daily targets
- Team player: a positive, reliable approach to working in a large team
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30, with three 20-minute breaks (unpaid)
- Pay from £12.71/hour, rising with experience and performance
- Progression opportunities reviewed after your first month
- Paid monthly
