We are currently looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our growing team, providing tailored care to both adults and children with diverse needs.
This is a unique and rewarding role in which you will support a diverse group of service users across the lifespan. Whether you are helping an adult develop the skills to live independently or supporting a child in accessing education, engaging in play, and building confidence, your work will profoundly impact their daily lives. You will work closely with families, multi-disciplinary teams, and local community services to ensure our service users receive holistic, joined-up care.
Key Responsibilities
- Personalised Care: Provide high-quality personal care, emotional support, and daily living assistance tailored to the specific age and needs of the individual (ranging from children to adults).
- Skill Building: Support adults with life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and using public transport. Support children with homework, life skills, and developmental play.
- Community Access: Accompany service users to appointments, social clubs, educational settings, and community activities to promote social inclusion.
- Care Planning: Contribute to the creation, review, and daily updating of digital care plans and risk assessments.
- Safeguarding: Strictly adhere to UK safeguarding policies for both adults and children, reporting any concerns immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Advocacy: Act as an advocate for our service users, ensuring their voices are heard and their choices are respected at all times.
