The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to student demand, Elstree Helicopters is looking to expand the Instructor Team at our family run ATO(H) based at London Elstree Aerodrome. Whilst primarily delivering PPL training, the role will also include conducting advanced training including the London Heli Lanes, type ratings, CPL prep plus of course encouraging budding pilots to begin their flying journey with trial lessons and experience flights.
Our fleet comprises of the Robinson family (R22, R44, R66), the Cabri G2 and the iconic B206 Jet Ranger therefore ratings on these aircraft would be an advantage. Alongside top notch instructional/piloting skills, safety and professionalism other key attributes we look for are someone who is friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and reliable with a keen interest in flight training and a depth of knowledge to help guide our students to reach their flying goals be it PPL or beyond.
We are extremely fortunate to have a busy operation, flying 7 days a week (weather permitting of course) so we are looking for someone up to 5 days per week to suit our ever growing students this can be on a salaried or freelance basis. Many unique opportunities and career progression await the successful applicant including numerous trips and tours with our students and qualified pilots both in the UK and Europe.
Applicants must hold a UK CPL(H) or ATPL(H) and a Flight Instructor (Helicopter) Certificate with appropriate Part FCL. Newly qualified instructors are welcome to apply as mentorship/guidance through their supervisory restriction period can be provided on successful completion of both interview and competency-based assessment.
