Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to lead on the Design workstream in our project teams and oversee the quality and process for Elsewhen’s most high‑profile and critical accounts. The ideal candidate will excel at working to the highest standards of product delivery, bringing strategic insight into market opportunities and setting design standards across the organisation. You will be pivotal in shaping design and AI leadership within Elsewhen and extending your influence across other key areas.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally as a principal product designer at a high‑profile organisation, with the ability to think strategically across multiple teams and market opportunities.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing design standards, particularly in data visualisation, and improving design processes within a large organisation.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence design culture, collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams, and establish a strong design system.
- Excellent customer focus, with the ability to conduct user testing and discovery processes to deeply understand user needs.
- Experience with AI technologies, including experimenting with and deploying AI in production‑level environments is desirable.
- Deep understanding of how design impacts business, with experience driving business impact through design.
