Role

People Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Generalist HR Support: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Oversee the completion and maintenance of the HRIS as the Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for all employment data.
  • Manage and streamline HR onboarding processes for new hires and freelancers.
  • Prepare, send, and track freelance contracts and permanent employee contracts.
  • Set up interviews and coordinate logistics for candidates and interview panels.
  • Liaise as the point of contact for external recruiters.
  • Provide general HR administration support, including maintaining personnel files, document handling, HR reporting, and assisting with benefits administration.
  • Team Engagement & Events: Plan and execute team-building events, socials, and initiatives to promote cohesion.
  • Ownership of complete management of the Company updates bi-annually.

Qualifications

  • Experience (or strong interest) in HR, People Operations, or Talent Administration in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Skilled at managing sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Confident communicator, able to work independently and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with HR software/systems (HRIS) and productivity tools.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to change, and solve problems in an agile, proactive manner.
  • Enthusiastic team player, investing in a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Prior experience in recruitment, HR administration, or event planning is a plus, but not essential.
