Join our team: https://www.elsewhen.com . What we are looking for: We seek an ambitious Client & Business Development Manager to join our team. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by developing a portfolio of strategic accounts within central and local government and to help achieve better results by applying technology to solve problems. As our first full-time hire sector expert, we would love for you to demonstrate leadership, relationship building, and out-of-the-box thinking to support the growth of our public sector practice. We are live on multiple frameworks, including G-Cloud and AI, and are looking to engage further with the industry — this role is pivotal to our success. Things you will be doing: Develop a deep understanding of the Elsewhen proposition and our USP and be able to communicate to public sector buyers how they could benefit from collaborating with us. Develop and execute a strategic account plan and your TAL (Target Accounts List) – from defining your key accounts across Central and Local Gov to generating mutual value. Successfully establish relationships with identified Buyer Personas and prospects within your TAL. You will become a trusted advisor and enable sales via your network. Create a pipeline of well-qualified opportunities with these prospects that leverage the benefits of the Elsewhen solution portfolio. Manage a cadence for opportunity reviews, upcoming bids, and framework participation. Manage bid process through public sector frameworks and develop relevant tooling – including bid portals, internal bid library and Hubspot integration. Take part in market engagements, consultations and think tanks, to establish Elsewhen as a thought leader in the space. Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities using a full range of online and offline channels (social, digital, events etc.) Reporting line: Director, Product & Strategy Your Experience: A proven track record of success, building relationships with senior stakeholders, using a consultative selling approach to maximise client outcomes. Min 3 years of experience managing the sales cycle from initial prospecting to deal closure within the public sector (ideally Central & Local). Experience successfully writing and submitting bids through government procurement frameworks Successful experience and ability to build a new business pipeline from the ground up. Min 3 years of working within a Digital Consultancy environment – You have built a good understanding of digital, tech and modern ways of working. Leadership credentials: be a confident team player with demonstrable experience in selling services by understanding clients’ problems. Experience developing iterative sales artefacts (workshops, proposals and presentations) as well as delivering them to a large number of people.
