About the Role:
Join ScienceDirect as a Product Manager focused on transforming the user experience from occasional visits to active, AI-powered research engagement. You will lead initiatives that help users discover the value of SD AI by optimizing user journeys, testing growth strategies, and enabling intuitive access to AI tools. Your work will fuel both B2B retention/expansion and B2C growth.
Responsibilities:

Map and improve user flow from guest to signed-in to regular use of SD AI

Design and run experiments including A/B and multivariate tests to validate growth strategies

Launch metered AI access for first-time users to explore features in a meaningful way

Highlight value for entitled users through clear and contextual guidance

Define success metrics and work with data teams to monitor performance

Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and other partners to deliver improvements

Champion user-centered, agile product thinking across the organization
Requirements:

A good amount of experience in product management for consumer digital or freemium products

Proven success optimizing activation or growth funnels using data and experimentation

Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Google Analytics and growth frameworks

Experience working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, and marketing teams

Effective communication and storytelling skills tailored to diverse stakeholders
