About the RoleAs a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the design, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based enterprise environments. Working independently on moderately complex initiatives, you will help build reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure while supporting operational excellence across multiple environments.This role offers the opportunity to work with cloud technologies, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices, while collaborating closely with development, support, and platform teams to deliver high-quality solutions.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions within established architectural guidelinesRespond to and assist in diagnosing system management alerts and operational exceptions, escalating where appropriateApply and advocate infrastructure best practices within the teamContribute to scripts, automation, and Infrastructure as Code developmentParticipate in change management processes, ensuring changes are properly documented, tested, and executedCollaborate closely with development, support, and platform teamsAssist in daily support of assigned systems and products through proactive monitoring and early detection of issuesConfigure, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud infrastructure components across multiple environmentsRequirementsCloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPInfrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar toolsLinux administration and scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar technologiesFamiliarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and KubernetesUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with system monitoring tools such as New Relic or similarKnowledge of change and incident management processesGood oral and written communication skillsWork in a Way That Works for YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
