We are developing an innovative educational product designed to support medical educators in teaching medical students. To ensure the highest quality and educational effectiveness, we are seeking qualified medical educators currently teaching medical students from Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom to join our subject matter expert (SME) team. We require 20 SMEs total across three distinct roles.

Project Duration: September 2025 to April 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Compensation: $80 USD per hour

Work Arrangement: Remote position based on US time zone

Contract Structure: SMEs will be contracted through a third-party agency

Evaluation Schedule: Quarterly evaluations with potential ad-hoc assessments as needed

Deadlines: Asynchronous evaluations with 5-day to 2-week deadlines (varies by workload)

Target Candidate Profile: Medical educators currently teaching medical students from Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom with expertise in the following subject areas:

  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Pharmacology
  • Pathology
  • Cardiology
  • Oncology
  • Nephrology
  • Endocrinology

Requirements: MBBS/MBChB/MD degree from accredited medical school and 2+ years of medical education experience. Must be currently teaching at an accredited institution in either the UK, New Zealand, or Australia with expertise in one of our subject areas.

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week during evaluation periods, 4+ evaluations per year

Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess AI-generated medical content to ensure it meets the pedagogical needs of medical educators teaching students. Rate content using established metrics including accuracy, completeness, relevancy, and overall usefulness for educational purposes.
