About the Role

As a Delivery Manager, you will work closely with Data Engineering teams to deliver high‑value products and initiatives in a complex, evolving environment. You should understand the intent behind agile delivery principles and apply them pragmatically to improve flow, alignment, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to plan, execute, and deliver high‑quality outcomes with clear evidence of impact.
  • Effectively sequence work by mapping dependencies across teams and systems, proactively identifying blockers and coordinating timelines for smooth, predictable delivery.
  • Ensure effective team rhythms and alignment, adding value to ceremonies and evolving them where they are insufficient.
  • Shape and evolve ways of working based on what actually works, avoiding rigid frameworks.
  • Make delivery visible and outcome‑focused through meaningful metrics.
  • Identify and address systemic issues that impact delivery at scale, not just team‑level blockers.
  • Drive continuous improvement through practical experimentation and evidence.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships through honest, data‑driven communication.
  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery practices across Data Engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering real, measurable outcomes in a delivery role, not just facilitating agile processes.
  • A pragmatic approach to delivery – solid understanding of agile frameworks without relying on them rigidly.
  • Experience working in complex or scaled environments with multiple teams and dependencies.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset, comfortable tackling ambiguity and systemic challenges.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for outcomes, driving change in complex environments.
  • Ambition to grow and take on broader delivery challenges, including operating at greater scale and influence.
  • Curiosity about how AI is shaping delivery and product development, and willingness to experiment with new ways of working.
  • Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master) desirable.
  • Experience working in data or platform engineering environments – desirable.
