As a Technology Communications Manager, you will develop and deliver engaging internal communications that help colleagues understand strategic priorities, business updates, organisational change and key technology initiatives.
Working closely with Technology leaders, programme owners and Global Communications, you will help create clear, consistent and impactful communications that support colleague engagement and the adoption of new ways of working, including AI-enabled initiatives.
- Develop and deliver engaging communications that help Technology colleagues understand strategic priorities, business updates, organisational change and key Technology initiatives.
- Translate complex technology and operational topics into clear, accessible messages for a broad internal audience.
- Plan and manage the Technology communications editorial calendar, coordinating campaigns, organisational announcements, town halls and people manager communications to ensure timely, consistent and impactful messaging.
- Ensure Technology communications align with Elsevier's strategic priorities and Global Communications' messaging framework, reinforcing our value proposition and business priorities.
- Lead communications for colleague engagement programmes, including Technology Recognition, Technology Showcase and Employee Opinion Survey communications.
- Manage and optimise internal communication channels, including Share Point and the Technology intranet, ensuring content is current, accessible and aligned with governance standards.
- Partner with Technology leaders, programme owners, people managers and Global Communications to provide strategic communications advice, support organisational change initiatives and enable the responsible adoption of AI.
- Measure the effectiveness of communications using engagement data, feedback and insights, identifying opportunities to continuously improve campaigns, channels and the colleague experience.

- Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or 5 year's equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in internal communications, change communications, employee engagement, digital transformation communications or corporate communications.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex or technical information into clear, practical and engaging communications.
- Experience supporting organizational change, programme communications or strategic initiatives.
- Strong planning and coordination skills, including experience managing editorial calendars, content plans, campaigns or communication timelines.
- Experience advising stakeholders on messaging, audiences, timing and communication channels.
And managing internal communication channels such as intranets, Share Point, Slack, newsletters or town hall content.
- Confidence using digital tools, including AI tools, to support day-to-day work and improve communications processes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
