About Role
This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems, including the design of the program flow of separate pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications in a cloud-hosted distributed system.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions to ensure stability, scalability, and performance.
- Identify and implement improvements to engineering practices and the delivery pipeline to increase quality and speed.
- Collaborate with a cross‑functional Agile team (engineering, product, QA, DevOps) to deliver positive business outcomes.
- Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, iterate on feedback, and deliver user‑focused solutions in a fast‑moving environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate some proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Angular, etc), SQL, with a willingness to learn others.
- Experience with version control system (e.g., git).
- Enjoy collaborating with team members to create innovative solutions.
- Experience with a modern IDE (IntelliJ / VSCode) and proficiency in using refactoring tools.
