You will play an important part in creating a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas to a high standard
- Empty bins, remove waste and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Vacuum, sweep, mop and polish floors as required
- Wipe down desks, surfaces, touch points and equipment
- Refill soap, paper towels and other hygiene supplies
- Ensure cleaning materials are used safely and stored correctly
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Site Manager
- Follow all school safeguarding, health & safety and infection‑control procedures
Person Specification
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential - training will be provided
