Company Overview
Established 11 years ago, a multi-faceted organisation offering development finance on one arm, and on the other arm, a large Developer Contractor based in Manchester delivering world-renowned developments, sold globally to the residential and investment market. As a lender, the business offers 100% Development Finance, deployed in a Joint-Venture style whereby we provide all the money to buy and build the development in return for a 50/50 split of the net profit. The lending division focuses on funding residential property developments with small to medium size developers who see value in working with us as their funding and Joint Venture Partner.
Role Overview
Seeking to appoint a Lending Sales Manager to assist in its Joint Venture deals, whereby the Sales manager will work with partners to help manage the estate agencies selling the homes, attending and organising Open Days and Viewings, helping close sales and helping us and the Partner bring in monies faster, which in turn makes both parties more money in the profit split. The Sales manager will also be responsible for working with our partners to employ the right agents for the job, ensure that the sites are well kept post-completion of the construction as well as reporting back to heads of departments and directors as to how sales are performing on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the sales process for residential developments from pre-launch to completion
- Act as the primary lead representing the Build Partner / JV function
- Carry out market research to ensure the project has ample USP's in order to maximise sale potential
- Work closely with clients to select, appoint, and manage external sales agents
- Oversee appointed agents to ensure:
- All marketing collateral is accurate, compliant, and aligned with agreed strategy
- Property listings and promotional materials are correct and consistently maintained
Person Specification
- Proven experience in residential development sales, new build housing, or a related property role
- Strong client/agent management skills
- Commercially focused with a results-driven approach
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
- Willingness to travel nationwide as required and go above and beyond where necessary
