Electrical Engineer in Manchester

Elsdon Group are working with a leading European contractor with a strong track record of delivering HV/MV projects and data centres. They are currently looking to add an Electrical Engineer to the team in Manchester. This role is remote, but you will be required to meet customers and contractors on-site, which could be anywhere in the UK.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project team with project documentation and control, job costing, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, the candidate should comfortably take on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritize those tasks’ completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on‑site management to ensure project success
• Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
• Work with HV specialist contractors to deliver the project
• Scope HV and MV electrical works

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Solid experience in delivering HV projects
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
