Are you a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) looking to take your career to the next level? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Group Finance function and play a key role in both transactional and reporting activity for our Head Office companies.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you'll work across multi-currency ledgers, support month-end and statutory reporting, and play a part in shaping the future of our systems (Sage Intacct & Oracle FCCS).

What you'll be doing

  • Managing multi-currency ledgers and FX proof calculations
  • Preparing and posting month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany, etc.)
  • Driving intra-group AR processes (invoicing, credit control, cash allocation)
  • Delivering monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting accounts payable and GRNI reconciliations
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Preparing management reporting into Oracle FCCS
  • Assisting in the production of audited statutory accounts and year-end audit files
  • Working on technical accounting matters under UK GAAP (and potentially IFRS)
  • Contributing to process improvements and ERP system development

What we're looking for

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong academics
  • Solid grounding in general ledger accounting and financial processes
  • Experience in accounts payable operations and best practices
  • Organised, detail-driven, and proactive – someone who thrives on taking ownership
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders in a professional, knowledgeable manner

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with Sage Intacct, balance sheet reconciliation software, or Oracle FCCS
  • Exposure to technical accounting under IFRS
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits
