We’re partnering with a growing education group to hire an FP&A Analyst into their expanding finance team. This is a genuinely commercial role with visibility, ownership, and influence, ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into insight that actually shapes decisions.

You’ll work closely with a Senior Management Accountant and the wider finance function, supporting planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance reporting across multiple entities. If you like building models, improving reporting, and being close to the numbers that drive strategy, this one will keep you interested.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning across multiple entities
  • Updating and improving forecasting models around student numbers, staffing, and cost assumptions
  • Building scenarios to assess risk and inform management decisions
  • Analysing performance data and producing insight-led reporting
  • Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and reporting templates
  • Reconciling and reporting on student numbers across the division
  • Delivering ad-hoc analysis and projects for senior stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills with clear commercial thinking
  • Advanced Excel capability (you’re comfortable handling large, complex data sets)
  • Experience in FP&A, management accounting, or business analysis
  • Confident communicator who can work with stakeholders outside finance
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
