- Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
- Responsible for budget planning and tracking in the assigned area
- Strategic development of the IE department with a focus on lean production (identifying improvements, recording the areas of potential identified in a roadmap, defining priorities) in coordination with the Production Manager
- Achievement of the 1-5-year targets (i.e. definition of targets, measures and priorities to achieve the 1-5-year targets)
- Implement and comply with defined production standards, incl. reporting KPIs to the BUs and CUs
- Act as a point of contact for the CUs and BUs in the plant
- Coordinate issues that affect multiple BUs in the plant
- Creation of machine and plant layouts as per CU specifications
- Cooperation in CIP projects
- Responsibility for OEE improvements on work-center level towards the achievement of the set OEE targets
- Responsibility for the manufacturing processes in the plant (per BU) in terms of pre-series and series
- Execution and release of machine acceptances
- Coordinate production equipment modifications
