Responsibilities include assessment of counterparty risk/exposure taken on the client portfolio, primarily clients trading listed and OTC commodities covering softs, base metals, energy and precious metals.
Direct reporting to the Risk Manager/Head of Risk and to the Credit Committee members for risk decisions.
Propose limits or recovery actions to Senior Management, with ultimate decision-making responsibility resting with Senior Management.
Provide Senior Management with a summary of counterparty risk for each client analysed.
Conduct counterparty analysis and provide a clear summary of the counterparty risks (business/financial) through written and verbal presentations.
Present files for decision to Senior Management via Credit Committee.
Maintain close liaison with stakeholders.
