Job Description
As the Accounts Payable Accountant, you will independently manage and maintain the company’s Accounts Payable function. The incoming AP Accountant should have experience in SAP to ensure data quality in the system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Recording supplier invoices and payments
- Reconciling accounts
- Update and check SAP supplier master data
- Assist Financial Controller and GL Accountant with month end closing
- Assist Financial Controller in improving internal controls and processes
- Assist Financial Controller in improving SAP system
- Support internal and external audits
- Ad-hoc finance projects & analysis
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within the automotive industry
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA part qualified accountant
- SAP experience is required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proactive, and willing to solve problems
- Able to work within diversified environment with occasional communication with HQ colleagues in China.
