Responsible for the procurement and supply of fossil jet fuel and biofuels (including SAF, HVO).
Single point of accountability for structuring, negotiating commercial terms & undertake price risk on all commercial contracts.
Manage trading activities related to carbon credits/tickets and related environmental instruments.
Support Management and HQ in establishing deal structures and developing supply chains for new business initiatives (e.g. SAF export from China).
Assist HQ in cross-regional trading activities, coordination, and execution support.
Identify, evaluate, and support investment opportunities in upstream resources and supply chain assets to strengthen the Company’s supply capabilities.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of fossil jet fuel and biofuel transactions, ensuring operational efficiency and delivery of targeted profitability.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate trading and department reports to Management, and HQ.
Facilitate effective communication between local operations, HQ, and the stockholders to ensure alignment and efficient decision-making.
Lead and manage the Trading and Operations team, including performance management and capability development.
Other potential engagements in other work areas within the Company.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Management or petroleum-related disciplines preferred.
- Solid trading experience (physical and derivatives) in the same industry, jet fuel & biofuel highly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of market and pricing structure in related products/areas.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Highly analytical and proficient in MS tools, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret and present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Flexible on travelling internationally.
- Mandarin speaking & writing skills.
