The Technical Sales Specialist is to shape the company strategy to penetrate the European markets, and to build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients to maximize our business in the biopharma industry.
- Work with regional sales team to achieve agreed sales targets for UK, Ireland & Nordics regions.
- Empower sales teams with technical expertise; conduct account deep dive, opportunity mapping and client visits for key accounts, and lead custom projects to develop new clients and opportunities.
- Based on in-depth analysis of market trends, competition and customer demand, propose and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies to support the achievement of regional revenue growth.
- Expand the customer base for strategic product lines; identify new opportunities and local competitors, and deliver sales-centric technical trainings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners; provide timely technical support and customized solutions to expand customer coverage and enhance brand influence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and implement webinars, seminars, exhibitions and promotion activities; participate in industry events to expand networks and capture business opportunities.
- Collect and provide feedback on regional market intelligence to HQ for product optimization, development and competitive positioning; collaborate with global teams to share strategies and case studies.
Requirements
- Knowledge: Master’s degree or above, major in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or related fields is a must.
- Experience: Work experience in related fields is preferred.
- General Competence: Self-motivated, ability to work independently and handle pressure, high-level problem-solving skills, attention to details, strong communication skills, effective time management and prioritisation, excellent in English both written and spoken.
- Professional Competence: High business acumen, strong data analytical and project management skills, experienced in negotiation, able to secure big sales opportunities, ability to conduct market research.
