Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall operation and expansion of the product in the targeting market, including business development, marketing, content growth, and day to day operation.
  • Work on the frontline of the business and lead projects and campaigns directly for the overall business success.
  • Understand the business goals of the company, interpret the goals into detailed business plans and quantitative targets, and oversee the execution of the plans and reach the targets.
  • Provide constructive insights and suggestions to the leadership team on the overall business and product strategy in the UK market and lead the local implementation of the strategies.
  • Responsible for management and development of the UK team members, including providing managerial guidance, identifying high potential talents, and providing mentorship and training in the day to day operation.
  • Be the face of our company in the industry, representing the company and product brands in front of business partners and in industrial events.

Requirements

  • Excellent education background in related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of industrial experience in major tech or media companies in a role focused on content operations, marketing, or content partnerships.
  • Successful track record in developing well-recognized internet products.
  • Strong sense and insight in product operations, content product preferred.
  • Deep knowledge and insights on the ecosystem of the media & entertainment industry and content business in the UK market.
  • Strong managerial ability and successful track record, experience leading a diverse, multicultural background team preferred.
  • Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, identify problems, and come up with constructive solutions.
  • Ability to think strategically with long term planning for the overall business success.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to represent the company and product in public events.
  • Direct communicator, able to communicate tough decisions and motivate the team.
