The Product Pre-Sales Engineer is required to deliver the following key tasks:
- Provide product pre-sales promotion, including introducing new product features to Channel Customers, helping customers to select products, and working with sales staff for sales targets.
- Define and manage a product roadmap balancing delivery with value and aligned to the organisational strategy.
- Provide product training to technical engineers for our channel customers and help them to improve the standard of their technical knowledge.
- Liaise with customers to collect product reviews, pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technology processes through identifying customer feedback for improvement and implementing changes to product manager.
- Help customers prepare tender documents and make tenders to the required standards.
- Actively assist our business partners such as distributors and resellers in Brand promotion, cooperating with the Dahua Marketing Team about promotional materials for customers to develop the company's business.
- Provide technical support and advice on all aspects of video surveillance equipment for sales staff and customers, including responding to customers on technical problems, cooperating with R&D on troubleshooting, and doing integration with third-party companies.
- Maintain efficient communication with the headquarters in terms of new product lines and other technical issues, ensuring the problem can be solved timely by integrating sources.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing multiple products and initiatives simultaneously with appropriate prioritisation.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, access control, door entry, video conference, VMS, cloud storage, video wall, video/audio matrix, network, and industrial drone products.
- Ability to work autonomously with confidence and set a clear direction for strategic work-streams.
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical specialists.
- Ability to influence and generate buy-in across the organization.
- Proven ability to handle, analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.
- Good customer service skills and communication skills.
- Good at handling pressures.
