About the Role
Being a start-up, the company is constantly growing at a fast pace, and the successful candidate will likely have broad exposure to all aspects of running a business, from financial products, dealing, and operations to compliance and regulatory responsibilities. The candidate can expect no two days to be the same, as they work on client cases at different stages of their overall wealth planning, handle projects of varying nature, and connect with external partners from different sectors who each have their own unique value propositions.
Responsibilities:
- Fund-related operations tasks, e.g. liaising with Fund Administrators, Fund Directors, Auditors, Banks, Prime Brokers, Counsels, etc.
- Working with private banks/custodians
- Wealth management business operational tasks, e.g. trade reconciliation
- Assisting client advisors with client-specific tasks, including conducting client fact finds, account opening, performance reporting, taking meeting minutes, and ad hoc problem solving
- Private client onboarding tasks, e.g. KYC/AML, annual reviews
- Ad hoc compliance and regulatory tasks, under guidance from the MLRO and external regulatory consultants
Requirements:
- Experience in the responsibilities described above
- Ability to work independently and reliably, potentially as the sole contact point for the listed tasks
- Strong English communication skills; Chinese is a plus but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work in a timely manner
- Capable of digesting information, taking instructions, asking relevant questions, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders
- An inquisitive mindset and solid problem-solving skills
