We are looking for an exceptionally skilled Business Development (BD) Manager to join our client's Cloud team based in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a critical role in the BD team, recruiting customers and partners and selling cloud solutions to key clients in the UK. Your primary responsibility is to achieve annual GAAP revenue targets through various sales initiatives while working as a team player to help the team hit the overall revenue goal. As a rapidly growing global cloud solutions provider, our client offers an exciting opportunity for career growth.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving annual GAAP revenue targets by selling Cloud solutions to enterprises and small/medium business clients.
- Developing partnerships to leverage business/DevOps communities to sell Cloud solutions.
- Building strong sales pipelines, enhancing customer onboarding and partner enablement programs.
- Providing training and workshops to customers and partners to enhance brand awareness and improve collaborations.
- Providing pre-sales and post-sales support at the account level to help customers and partners with company Cloud consumption and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Being a team player to help the team hit the overall revenue target and build a solid ecosystem by offering internal cross-trainings, knowledge and experience sharing, and contributing to teamwork spirit.
- Collaborating with HQ back-office functional lines to contribute to overall product, solution, and operation enhancements.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills with exceptional abilities in presenting, public speaking, and written communication.
- Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of strong Cloud Computing Sales/BD experience targeting vertical industries is required.
- Experience in nationwide or regional business communities engagement is an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in partnership and alliance programs are also preferred.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in a global company with cultural diversity and fast-paced growth.
- The ability to direct collaborative efforts of resources within a large organization, including internal and external resources and other constituent groups, as appropriate, is essential.
- Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage change, resolve conflicts, and ensure collaboration within teams and/or units while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
- Exceptional organizational skills are necessary, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
