Salary: £20,012.53 per annum (based on 20.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per year)
Qualifications:
- Practitioner level qualification, HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7
- SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF 7 or equivalent
- SVQ 3 Child Care and Education
- SVQ 3 Early Years Care and Education
- SVQ Children's Care Learning and Development SCQF 7
- HNC Childcare and Education
- HNC Working with Children in Early Years
- HNC Early Education and Childcare (at SCQF level 7)
- Qualifications previously recognised for SNNEB/NNEB registration may be acceptable
- Up‑to‑date first‑aid certificate
Requirements:
- Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007
- Must not be barred from working with children
- PVG Scheme membership required; applicant will join/update the scheme prior to employment (cost borne by applicant)
- Disclosure Scotland certificate will be issued for 14 days; must be accessed and shared with employer within this period
- Additional application may be required if certificate is not accessed within 14 days, incurring additional cost
