Contract Status: Permanent

Hours of Work: 20.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: Wednesday 08:00‑16:15, Thursday 08:15‑16:45, Friday 08:15‑13:00

Salary: £20,012.53 per annum (based on 20.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per year)

Qualifications:

  • Practitioner level qualification, HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7
  • SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF 7 or equivalent
  • SVQ 3 Child Care and Education
  • SVQ 3 Early Years Care and Education
  • SVQ Children's Care Learning and Development SCQF 7
  • HNC Childcare and Education
  • HNC Working with Children in Early Years
  • HNC Early Education and Childcare (at SCQF level 7)
  • Qualifications previously recognised for SNNEB/NNEB registration may be acceptable
  • Up‑to‑date first‑aid certificate

Requirements:

  • Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007
  • Must not be barred from working with children
  • PVG Scheme membership required; applicant will join/update the scheme prior to employment (cost borne by applicant)
  • Disclosure Scotland certificate will be issued for 14 days; must be accessed and shared with employer within this period
  • Additional application may be required if certificate is not accessed within 14 days, incurring additional cost
