We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee the distribution and procurement processes of IoT and electronic hardware across our global supply chain. This individual will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of components and finished goods, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating last-mile delivery to customers and partners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics, with familiarity with international expediting, distribution and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, sales, and support teams.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the IoT or electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, incoterms, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS/TMS platforms).
  • Exceptional negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

  • +5years Experience working with contract manufacturers and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) providers.
  • Knowledge of import/export requirements for electronics (e.g., FCC, CE, RoHS compliance).
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in supply chain automation and real-time tracking.

Responsibilities

Procurement Management

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for IoT hardware components and finished devices.
  • Monitor supplier performance, manage lead times, and ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards for electronic components.
  • Forecast hardware needs in collaboration with engineering, R&D, and sales departments.

Distribution & Fulfillment

  • Develop and manage global distribution networks for electronic and IoT devices.
  • Oversee the coordination of freight (air, sea, and land) and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of hardware to customers, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities.
  • Implement and maintain shipment tracking systems and resolve delays or disruptions.

Inventory & Warehouse Optimization

  • Maintain optimal stock levels of components and finished goods to meet demand.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage buffer stock, reorder points, and safety stock.
  • Track inventory movement using ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).

️ Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Continuously improve logistics processes to reduce costs, enhance speed, and increase reliability.
  • Use data analytics to monitor KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full), freight cost per unit, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions or product shortages.
