We are strengthening our EPC operations in the UK and are currently looking for an experienced HV Senior Bid Specialist to join our team. This is a strategic role with direct influence on our bidding approach for large-scale renewable energy projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the HV and grid connection scope (typically 66–132kV) for utility-scale EPC tenders.
- Acting as the technical interface with TSOs, DNOs, ICPs and major HV equipment suppliers.
- Preparing and validating HV single-line diagrams, BOQs, cost estimations, and risk assessments.
- Reviewing and interpreting grid connection requirements, technical specifications and tender documentation.
- Coordinating closely with internal teams — engineering, procurement, construction, H&S and project management — to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals.
- Supporting value‑engineering initiatives and proposing technical optimisations to improve bid competitiveness.
- Participating in clarification processes, negotiations and handover to the project execution team.
- Ensuring that all HV-related documentation is aligned with market standards, regulations and project requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical background in HV engineering, grid connection and tendering.
- Solid understanding of UK electrical standards and transmission/distribution networks.
- Experience working with TSOs, DNOs or ICPs is highly valued.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in an international EPC environment.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
Location
Remote position within the UK, with occasional visits to our London office or project sites when required.
