This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve academic success, develop independence and build confidence in their learning.
As a valued member of staff, you will deliver engaging and inclusive Mathematics lessons alongside teaching across a range of curriculum subjects. You will create a structured, supportive and nurturing classroom environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality teaching with a strong focus on Mathematics.
- Adapt learning to meet a diverse range of SEND needs.
- Track pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and educational planning.
- Lead and manage classroom support staff effectively.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence.
- Work closely with families, colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Play an active role in the wider life and development of the school.
