We are a highly regarded not-for-profit, values-based organisation, offering residential, community and in-home aged care for over 30 years, to older people living in and around the city of Manningham.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (Casual) to join our team and work across both of our homes (90-bed and 60-bed facilities).

This position requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills to support residents, families, and the care team. You will have experience in care plan reviews, dementia care, and restrictive practices. You will also have the support of Clinical Care Managers, After-Hours Coordinators, and lifestyle assistance in the evenings.

About You

  • Relevant nursing qualifications & AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential aged care or a healthcare environment.
  • Experience providing care for people with Dementia
  • Skilled in wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, assessments, and care plans
  • Ability to complete care plan reviews with residents and families
  • Experience in clinical assessments and after-hours client management
  • Strong knowledge of SIRS and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Strong and effective leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Ability to supervise and support team members
  • Current NDIS check
  • Passion for working with the elderly
  • Additional dementia education (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of AN-ACC
