About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join the MannaCare residential maintenance team on a casual basis, with the potential for the role to transition to a permanent position.
Reporting to the Assets and Facility Manager, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, grounds, equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe, comfortable and well-presented environment for residents, staff and visitors.
The role will involve responding to maintenance requests, carrying out routine inspections and repairs, supporting scheduled and essential services maintenance, and coordinating with external contractors when required.
Skills And Experiences
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A relevant trade qualification or more than 5 years’ experience in commercial or aged care facility maintenance
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Strong problem-solving, communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Current NDIS Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
