About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Care Manager to provide strategic clinical and operational leadership at Cassia House, MannaCare’s high-care residential aged care service on a full time permanent basis.

Cassia House is a 90-bed residential aged care service with three care units, including a dedicated Memory Support Unit supporting residents living with dementia and cognitive impairment. The Clinical Care Manager will provide leadership across the service, overseeing clinical governance, care outcomes, workforce capability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role will report directly to the Executive Director Residential Services. You will lead, and support the Clinical Nurse Managers to effectively manage clinical operations, workforce performance, and care delivery, ensuring positive outcomes for residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership across Residential Aged Care services
  • Lead, coach and support Clinical Nurse Managers to effectively manage clinical operations, workforce performance and care delivery
  • Oversee clinical governance, quality outcomes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, SIRS requirements, AN-ACC obligations, and organisational policies
  • Monitor clinical indicators, incidents, adverse events, complaints, and implement strategies to improve care outcomes
  • Oversee workforce planning including rostering, staffing levels, skill mix, agency utilisation and AN-ACC care minutes
  • Ensure resident assessments, care plans, documentation and clinical processes meet quality and compliance requirements
  • Support AN-ACC processes, funding optimisation and alignment between resident needs and care delivery
  • Participate in audits, accreditation activities and continuous improvement processes
  • Participate in shared on-call responsibilities as required

Skills And Experiences

About You

  • Registered Nurse with current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Proven experience in a senior clinical leadership role within residential aged care
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and developing nursing leaders
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC, SIRS, clinical governance and continuous improvement frameworks
  • Experience supporting residents living with dementia and an understanding of dementia-specific care approaches is highly desirable
  • Experience managing workforce planning, including rostering, care minutes and resource allocation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage clinical risks, incidents, complaints and quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication, report writing, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence, coach and drive positive change across teams
