Great Ocean Road Authority is seeking a skilled Consulting Arborist to join our Land and Marine Management team in Torquay. As a permanent full-time member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in the management and preservation of our natural landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting tree assessments and surveys to evaluate their health, stability, and risk factors.
- Providing expert advice on tree care, preservation, and management practices.
- Developing and implementing arboricultural plans to ensure the sustainable management of trees within our jurisdiction.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to address tree-related issues and provide technical guidance.
- Undertake regular site visits to assess the condition of trees and identify any potential hazards.
