The Role - A Day in the Life of a Business Advisor

You will provide flexible and practical Self-Employment Assistance to eligible participants, including the provision of business coaching, advice and mentoring services. Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide business mentoring and coaching services to new and established businesses under the Self-Employment program adhering to contractual requirements.
  • Promote the service and engage with potential participants to meet set KPI’s in the selected Region.
  • Manage a caseload of Self-Employment businesses to coach.
  • Complete all required data entries into Workforce Australia Online and ETC Trackers, within KPI/guidelines and timeframes.

Skills And Experiences Criteria for Success:

  • Relevant business qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a small business.
  • Experience in providing advisory, facilitation and/or mentoring support to small businesses, including demonstrated ability to analyse and provide recommendations on a broad range of business issues.
  • Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • A current, clear National Police Check.
  • A current QLD Blue Card.
